Email address if you create an account or subscribe to the newsletter
Payment information processed securely through Stripe (we never store card numbers)

Usage analytics: pages visited, features used, time on site (via Plausible Analytics — privacy-first, no cookies)
Technical information: browser type, device type, operating system
IP address (anonymized before storage)
Referral source (how you found Improve ASO)

How We Use Your Information

To perform ASO analysis on the app links you submit
To provide and improve the Service
To send transactional emails (report delivery, account notifications)
To send the newsletter if you opt in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
To process payments and prevent fraud
To respond to support requests
To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve Improve ASO

App Store Data Processing

When you submit an App Store or Google Play URL, we retrieve publicly available data from those stores including: app title, description, screenshots, ratings, and category information. This data is publicly accessible and is processed solely to generate your ASO report.

We do not store your full analysis results beyond 30 days unless you have an active paid account, in which case reports are retained for the duration of your subscription.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Stripe — payment processing
Plausible Analytics — privacy-first, cookieless analytics (no personal data shared)
Resend — transactional email delivery
Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
Law enforcement — only when required by valid legal process

All third-party processors are bound by data processing agreements and handle your data only as instructed by us.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies — only what's strictly necessary to keep you logged in to your account. We use Plausible Analytics which does not use cookies or fingerprinting. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

Data Retention

Analysis results: 30 days for free users, duration of subscription for paid users
Account information: retained until you delete your account
Payment records: 7 years (required by law)
Analytics data: aggregated and anonymized, retained indefinitely

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Object to or restrict processing of your data
Export your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, encrypted data storage, and access controls. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Improve ASO is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by email (if you have an account) and by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
